It’s hard to imagine how difficult life would be if I had poor vision or was unable to see, that’s why I appreciate any gadget that makes these common tasks so much easier to do. The Braille Label Printer is one of these concept gadgets which would produce Braille labels that can be attached to objects making them easier to identify. A common example would be labeling food stuff in a fridge or pantry cupboard. So many food items come in cans, cartons, and bottles that are very similar in size and shape making them difficult distinguish, the answer could be the Braille Label Printer which would make identification very easy.
Big thumbs up to Soonkyu Jang, Jieun Seo & Seung-un Kim who are the designers of the Braille Label Printer.

X12 Taser LLS Stun Gun

Check out the new stun gun called the x12 that will be available in June. The full name is the X12 Taser LLS Stun Gun was revealed at the Global Security Asia 2009 event and provoked quite a bit of interest from enforcement agencies present at the show. The X12 taser gun is wireless and you can clearly see the benefits of this already, i.e. no wires hanging around for people to trip up on or the hassle of having to reset the wires after a perpetrator is brought down.
Useful for suspects up to 88 feet away, the X12 is capable of firing an electrode able to pierce clothing and then apply an electrical impulse to temporarily paralyze a suspect making him easier to arrest or disarm.
What does LLS stand for I hear you ask? Personally I myself am not fond on acronyms and don’t really see the point of them as most of the time I don’t know what they stand for. Let’s be honest if I was ordering one I would rather ask for a Less Lethal Shotgun than an LLS.
