The Canine Calming Wrap

We have discussed many dog gadgets recently, specifically the Canine Protective Dog Goggles, Dog Life Jacket, and the Canine Bulletproof Vest. Today we bring to you another one, called the Canine Calming Wrap.

The Canine Calming Wrap is a device used by veterinarians to calm dogs and relieve them from stress in situations like when they are left alone, when there is a thunderstorm or even when they are left alone during a thunderstorm.

The canine calming wrap gives a gentle and constant compression around the dog’s body and it reacts like a hug or a cuddle to relieve and calm the canine’s nervous system and reduce distress during a travel or crating without having the need to use expensive and harmful sedatives.

This pet gadget fits the dog perfectly around the torso and the adjustable Velcro strap gives a comfortable fit and snug while enabling the dog to move around, breath and sleep naturally and comfortably. The canine wrap is made out of breathable (that allows air circulation) soft cotton and polyester material. The canine wrap is also machine-washable.

The size of the canine calming wrap determines on the circumference and size of the dog torso itself and if your dog falls in two size categories choose the larger one to get a perfect fit. The size for the canine wrap starts from a 9 inch diameter to a 50 inch diameter and there are about 7 sizes for it. The measurements for sizes are (9″-13 1/2″) for XXS, (13″-18″) for XS, (16″-23″) for S, (18″-26″) for M, (24″-32″) for L, (31″-40″) for XL and (38″-50″) for XXL. motion-tracking-webcam

I would guess most people who have access to a computer and the internet have used a webcam or at least seen one. Today’s gadget is slightly different to your average webcam in that it has motion tracking technology built into it. This web camera has the ability to track motion or be remotely controlled via the internet, basically allowing you to spy on your home when you are not present. On detecting movement, the camera is able to pan 180° and tilt up to 60° to follow and record any movement.

The camera can be setup to notify you via email whenever motion is detected in your home. Once notified, software provided with the camera allows you to remotely access the controls therefore manually maneuvering the camera to view anything within the room.  Therefore the Motion Tracking Web Camera appears to be more of a security device than a traditional webcam.

Features:

- 640 x 480 resolution
- 30 frames per second recording
- x 4 magnification
- Built in microphone
- Dimensions 4 1/4″ H x 3″ Diam. (9 oz.)

Included with the web camera is remote access software (Windows XP and Windows Vista compatible) and USB cable for connecting to computer.
