Shadow Caddy

I have just started playing golf and purchased my first full set off golf clubs recently. After playing a full 18 holes I now know why professionals have a golf caddy (bag full of clubs do get heavy!). The Shadow Caddy is a unique golfing product that makes use of robotic technology. Simply place your gold clubs and bag onto the caddy and it will follow you around the course allowing you to concentrate on your golf.
Features:
- Completely hands free: Unlike golf carts that are controlled by remote control, the Shadow Caddy follows a small transmitter that is attached to the golfer’s belt.
- Object detection: To prevent unnecessary bumps and collisions the Shadow Caddy has integrated object detection system.
- Extra Storage: The Shadow Caddy can store drinks, teas, extra balls, mobile phones, etc to enhance your golfing experience.
- Availability: Shadow Caddy has just been launched in Australia. It will be launched in the UK, Canada and South Africa in 2009 with other markets will follow shortly after that.
The Shadow Caddy is a great product which won the INNOVIC’s Next Big Thing Awardâ„¢ in 2008 and more recently the ABC New Inventors Program. However, the expense of the Shadow Caddy will make it out of most golfers reach, whereas many golf clubs may purchase them to hire out for a small fee.
