QuickSmart Backpack Stroller

Any parent with a young infant will understand how much stuff you end up carrying when you go out. For example diapers, spare dummies, and baby wipes just to name a few. However an Australian company called QuickSmart has realized this and attempted to design a backpack that incorporates a stroller as well as a storage bag called the QuickSmart Backpack Stroller. If you check out the pictures you will be amazed that the stroller can be folded up into such a small bag, and just as importantly the whole bag only weighs 9 pounds.
You would expect that by designing such a lightweight stroller some features would be lacking, however this is not the case as it still features a 5-point harness with canopy, padded seat with footrest, and a built-in shopping basket. Once you are ready to pack the stroller up just carry out the 4 easy steps in the picture. This not only makes it really easy to carry but also if you want to store the stroller at home or in a car.
Designed for children aged between 6 months and older the QuickSmart Backpack Stroller contains holders in the form of mesh pockets to store the diapers, drinks, and wipes that you would normally carry in a separate bag. You do not need to be gentle with it either as heavy duty easy care fabric is used for long-term reliability.

Shopping To-Do Pro App

These days we spend more and more time in the supermarket. Why is this? Well it is because there is so much emphasis on eating healthy food; therefore more fruit and vegetables are being consumed. Due to this many people have started shopping multiple times a week so they have the freshest ingredients.
I think everyone has collected a trolley or basket at the supermarket and found themselves halfway down an aisle when they completely forgot what they came in for. I have definitely done it on more than one occasion and yet still refuse to write a list on a piece of paper. I think it’s the stubbornness of me thinking that I will be able to remember everything I need to get, also it would be embarrassing walking around the supermarket with a list (especially if it was a short list with only a couple of items on it).
Now there is no need to be embarrassed you can actually be proud and geeky as there is an iPad and iPhone app that allows you to make a list of the shopping you need to get. The app is called the Shopping To-Do Pro.
The Shopping To-Do Pro app provides a nice clean user-friendly interface that allows for groceries to be added or deleted, along with reminders and even a shopping calculator. As it stands now the Pro version is free to download at iTunes so it’s worth downloading and giving it a go as it will cost you nothing. Plus there is no annoying ads!
Shopping To-Do Pro App Features
- Easy and simply add groceries to the list
- Add reminders for each list
- Intuitive interface
- Full Retina support
- Regional support
- Auto-complete previously entered groceries
- Add own shopping categories
- Add groceries to the categories
- Add the quantity and the price for each grocery
- Overview of the total amount for the whole list
- Automatic tax calculation
- Drag & drop to rearrange lists
Phantom Keyless Home Entry

The Phantom Smart Home Hands-free Keyless Home Entry is a new system developed to allow Bluetooth enabled cell phones to be used as a key to enter a door. It does this by detecting an authenticated Bluetooth connection to unlock the door thus reducing the need to reach into your pockets for a set of keys.
The benefits to the Phantom Smart Home keyless system is that if you are approaching the front door for example carrying some shopping you do not need to put it down to be able to enter. Just simply walk up to the door and the connection between the Phantom Smart Hands unit and the phone will unlock the door.
Some other benefits to this system is that most people take their cell phone wherever they go so instead of having to take keys and a phone you only need to take your cell phone. Traditionally multiple keys can be cut and supplied to people living in the house. In this instance multiple phones can be used as a key for the same door, simply pair it up with the Phantom unit and its good to use.
This gadget from a personal point of view is a really great idea. While carrying keys is not much of a problem for me, trying to find the right key and placing it in the lock whilst drunk can seem like the most difficult task in the world. (If anyone else has experienced this leave a comments just so I know I am not the only one.)
If you are worried about security of other mobile phones being able to open the door using Bluetooth technology then fear not. The Phantom keyless system can only be used with a mobile phone that has previously been paired with. Also, once the door has been opened the Phantom unit automatically locks the door thus keeping any would-be thieves from entering.
What happens if your phone is lost or stolen? All you need to do is reset the Keyless Home Entry and revoke access via that cell phone. This is a far easier process when compared with traditional method of having to get new locks and keys cut should you lose a set of keys.
You also need not worry about the installation of the Phantom security system. All it takes is one hour with simple DIY skills and tools. The system is compatible typical door handles and locks and works with your existing security hardware. All it costs is $198.

Doggy Poop Collector

I am a dog lover; if I pass one in the street I always stop to give them a stroke. However, as for having one of my own I just cannot see myself having the time to take them for a walk a couple of times a day. I also feel a bit sorry as the dog would be left in the house while I was at the office all day with nobody to keep it company. Finally, the one thing that puts me off more than anything would be the having to pick up excrement. Now I am sure I am not the only one who does not like the idea of doing that and for this reason the Doggy Poop Collector has been developed.
The Doggy Poop Collector is currently a concept by Kukil Han and Min-sung Kim and attempts to integrate a poop collector into a dog leash. By combining both a leash and a poop collector the designers hope people with a fear of picking up poop will be interested in buying this pet gadget as it “kills two birds with one stone” or solves two problems with one solution.
The poop scoop has been integrated into the handle of the pet leash so that the poop can be scooped up and stored until a convenient place to dispose of it has been found. The Doggy Poop Collector features an auto leash control button and an excretion cleaner button for discarding the poop.
My personal opinions are that this pet gadget looks a little bit bulky, but I guess some bigger dogs have big poops. No matter what sized dog you have I am sure if a range of different sized Doggy Poop Collectors are developed then numerous people would be interested.
