The Sims 3 iPhone & iPod Touch App

Electronic Arts have made the classic and record breaking Sims game available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Although Sims 3 has been out a while already we still thought we would review the game as it still is popular amongst Sims gamers who also happen to be Apple fans.

Designed to provide excellent graphics with the retina display and the iPhone’s responsive accelerometer controls the Sims can be directed to do whatever you want. The game functions very similar to the PC version; i.e. the looks and personality of your Sims characters can be customized completely for example you may want to have a character with a funny sense of humor featuring blue eyes and ginger hair, etc. You may want them to be house proud making sure everything is neat and tidy or you may want them to go out in town and let go of their inhibitions.
Please note the Sims 3 app is compatible with an iPhone and the iPod Touch and not other iPod versions such as the third generation iPod, the iPod classic, or the iPod Nano.

Cut the Rope App

Om Nom is the name of the creature in this Cut the Rope iPhone game and he is hungry…… hungry for candy! Ensure Om Nom is fed by providing him with candy by cutting ropes that will swing candy in his direction.  This addictive game will allow you to use your puzzle solving skills to work out which ropes need to be cut to enable the candy to swing in the direction of Om Nom.

Om Nom has a phenomenal appetite so do not worry about over feeding him, he can eat as much as you can deliver to him.

Deadlock Released for both iPhone and iPad

 

A new multiplayer game called Deadlock has been revealed for the iPhone and iPad. Designed by the makers of Aralon: Sword and Shadow and Gears; Deadlock claims to be one the best 3D online shooter games available from the iTunes app store.

The Deadlock app is free to download and play via the app store, best of all there is no ads to annoy you. Crescent Moon the developers have developed an action game which thousands of people can play online against each other using weapons such as pistols and machine guns to annihilate each other.
If you are worried about getting destroyed when you first play don’t be, there is a practice games called Survival mode and Bot matches that allows you to refine your fighting skills before entering real matches.
