TV Hat

The TV hat, which may seem like a joke and a dorky gadget to some people, turns out to be a pretty practical accessory when its features are concerned. Let’s see what it has to offer.

This new invention comes in a range of colours, including blue, red, white, camouflage and khaki, in two different styles – visor and baseball cap, so you can play around with the choices and your preferences. A nylon guard that drapes along the sides blocks out ambient light, and a magnifying glass midway along the bill enhances image sharpness for quality viewing. At the end of the bill is a flap for you to insert your video-playing device such as the iPod, iPhone, Droid and so on.

What makes this accessory special is that you can now have video screening to yourself, without anyone looking over your shoulder to see what you’re looking at. It also blocks the glare from sunlight, allowing more comfortable viewing experience. The screen of your device, magnified 2.5x by the built-in magnification glass, coupled with the nylon guard creates a theatre effect for your video viewing. You do not need to hold your device or risk it slipping from your lap when it is on viewing mode, perfect for use while commuting, on a flight or on field trips.

Though it may look a little silly to others when you use it outdoors or on transit, its quirkiness and portability wins hands down if you don’t mind strangers who may shoot you glances every now and then.
