Android phones, tablets and other devices run on the Android platform and system are wonderful to own, as the capability of the devices are limitless. In fact, you can also install different applications that could help you communicate easily and one of those Android apps that you can install on your phone is the Google Voice.
Google Voice works the same as eBay and Skype, it also allows people to communicate via video chat for free using their existing Gmail account as long as they logged on to the internet first. This is the first option in which this application is use by Gmail account holders.
Now, the Google Voice application is possible to download to your Android device, so you can still enjoy the service even if you are not presently using a computer as you are outside. The aim of Google and why it is now one of the many popular Android apps is simply to make it easier for people to communicate even without a computer or when not logged on to a PC the service can still be use.
Keep in mind that Google Voice apps let a user route calls on a certain number that allow anyone to ring their mobile, home and work phones simultaneously. The same thing, this Android app allows users to also make calls, route the call via internet and if you are in the U.S then the call is free but if internationally then a small fee paid first.
The other advantage of Google Voice is that compared to Skype, the fees of Google is relatively cheaper if you call international to landlines in major countries. For calls international to mobile phones then the rate further drops. This alone makes this Android application useful.
Google Voice may not be at par with Skype in terms of video chatting or conference yet, but this Android app can still be a welcome respite for some people who do not want to pay higher fees when calling an international landlines or mobile phones.

LG has announced it aims to debut its LG Optimus Black smartphone in Europe later this month and then in the states later on with white and pink versions being available. It has released some stats as well such as that 56 network carriers have already signed up and pre-ordered from a total of 50 different countries. Why so much interest? Well the LG Optimus is slimmer than the iPhone, that’s something to brag about (122 x 64 x 9.2mm). Weighing it at just 108g the LG Optimus comes with 2GB onboard memory, with the opportunity to increase this via the microSD slot. Built-in 802.11b/g/n connectivity and Wi-Fi Direct technology allow you to stay wirelessly connected to other devices.
