Digits Conductive Glove Pins – Keep Your Gloves On And Still Use Your Phone

Digits Conductive Glove Pins

It’s winter and it’s cold outside. No way you’re going to take off your gloves or mittens to use your iPhone or Smartphone. We recently showed you a great smartphone compatible glove solution from AGloves that lets you use your phone with your gloves on. However, unlike the capacitive touch screen gloves that have conductive fibers woven into the gloves, Digits Condutive Glove Pins are a less expensive solution that actually convert your existing gloves or mittens into touchscreen compatible gloves.

Digits Conductive Glove Pins work with any pair of gloves or mittens that you already own. With these conductive glove pins, you can easily convert your gloves into smartphone compatible gloves that let you operate touch screen devices without having to take your gloves off.

Here’s how the Digits Conductive Glove Pins Work

Digits conductive glove pins are made of a conductive silicone material and have a metal pin on the back that attach to your glove. To install, you simply place the back side of the conductive pin digit with the post inside of the fingertip of the glove and push through. Then you twist the other side of the silicone pad onto the post.

The Digits Conductive Glove Pins are really easy to install. Each set comes with four conductive glove pins and you can mix and match anyway you want. For example, you could place all four conductive pins on a single pair of gloves. Or you could install two glove pins on the fingers of two separate pairs of gloves.

The Digits Conductive Glove Pins are compatible with most touchscreen devices including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android phones, and more. Next time you’re outside in the bitter cold and your phone rings, keep your gloves on and skip the frostbite with a set of Digits Conductive Glove Pins!

Agloves Capacitive Touch Screen Gloves

Agloves Capacitive Touch Screen Gloves

It’s bitter cold outside and you have your gloves or mittens on. You know it’s impossible to use your iPhone, Android phone or any touch screen device for that matter. It simply doesn’t work with your gloves on. And nothing’s worse than to have to take your gloves off just to use phone. The problem is solved with the Agloves Capacitive Touch Screen Gloves.

Don’t let the freezing cold outside stop you from getting those tweets out, dialing your phone or checking that Facebook page. The Agloves Capacitive Touch Screen Gloves keep your hands and fingers warm and still allow you to use your touch screen device. No more frostbite when you’re out in the elements and you need to send those text messages.

The problem with regular gloves is that they’re not conductive. And that means they simply won’t work with any touch screen device. All of these wonderful devices that we’ve become so dependent on use a capacitive touch screen that’s designed to work by sensing very small minute changes in electrical current when you touch the screen with your finger. And most gloves simply block that electrical activity.

The Agloves Capacitive Touch Screen Gloves, more like cozy mittens actually, have thousands of tiny silver threads wrapped around the nylon fibers which allow the electrical contact from your fingers to reach the surface of the touch screen on your iPhone, iPad, Android phone or any other capacitive touch screen device.

The capacitive touch screen gloves are super cozy, warm and snuggly and are stretchable to provide a nice snug fit which helps optimize the contact with your touch screen device as well. They come in two sizes, medium and large. To determine the proper fit, wrap a measuring tape around your hand, across your palm, just under your knuckles, and don’t include your thumb. See the agloves fitting chart for sizing details.

Powerbag Backpack – The Backpack That Charges All Your Mobile Devices

Powerbag Backpack - The Backpack That Charges All Your Mobile Devices

If you’re the type of person who tends to forget to charge your electronic devices like MP3 Players and cell phones, no more worries with the Powerbag Backpack. With its built in 3000mAh battery and three charging cables, the Powerbag Backpack lets you charge your devices on the go. When you’re driving in your car, it might be easy to resort to charging your devices in the car but if you’re on the train or bus, you have time on your hands with no convenient way to charge up your devices.

The unique capability of the Powerbag Backpack is that it can recharge your devices on the go, but it’s also a great backpack with plenty of room. On the back there’s a pocket where you can fit a laptop as big as 16 inches. The second largest section of the bag consists of various pockets where you can place your iPad, a small tablet and the small 3000mAh battery.

Take a Powerbag Backpack Tour

It’s fully convenient and at the side of the bag there is a double ended micro or mini USB plug and a 30-pin plug that’s suitable for all iOS devices. When you power up the battery by hitting the Powerbag button, 4 LED lights will illuminate and indicate the remaining charge of the battery. Your fully charged phone or MP3 player will be automatically disengaged by the charging circuit to avoid accidentally draining your devices. Testing indicated that a 10% – 15% charged iPhone was able to re-charge 3.5 times to full capacity by the Powerbag Backpack.

Now we think you’ll agree, this is a pretty useful idea. After all, if you already carry a backpack, now you can keep your devices charged while you carry them around and that’s a great added benefit.

iNecklace

iNecklace

When I was told that I would be reviewing the iNecklace, I was instantly wary. After all, have we not already been deluged with countless i-stuffs? We now have to wear iNecklaces as an accessory? What will they think of next? However, I digress. Plus, it wasn’t as bad as all that because I think that the iNecklace is actually really cute. Your girlfriend, best friend or even mother will like it if you decide to give it to them as a present.

The pendant is actually a mirror of that iconic power button on your Mac or i-device. It actually has a LED backlight that allows it to pulsate when you are wearing it so it does look like you are about to be switched on or off. Still, it is a pretty powerful message to the masses and gives you an idea of how Apple has invaded our culture and daily life!

As necklaces go, it is a really pretty specimen because it lies on a silver chain and the pendant is of a good size. Put it on and remind the whole world how Apple has changed technology forever. The pulsing light will last you for up to 72 hours so that is ample time to show off your iNecklace. At $75, it might be a little pricey where trinkets are concerned. However, once you get it, you will definitely fall in love with it. As for me, I find it really hard to take it off because like all Apple products, it certainly is addicting and a piece of art at the same time.

10-Foot Macbeth’s Witches

10-Foot Macbeth's Witches

Standing over a bubbling cauldron at 10 foot tall and with two other sisters at 6′ 9″ and 6′ 1″ each, the three witches from Shakespeare’s play Macbeth will certainly make a great scare for kids trick-or-treating during Halloween. I, for one, wouldn’t want to walk straight into them alone in the dark the same way I don’t want to see mannequins come alive.

Here, the centre witch of the Weird Sisters as seen in Shakespeare’s play beckons to her sisters with outstretched arms. The three of them sport tattered robes and have expressions of total evil on their faces, made complete with beady, ominous eyes, pointed noses and snaggleteeth. The play’s most famous line “Double, Double Toil and Trouble!” is written on the burning cauldron with its green poisonous-looking brew spilling out as well.

The 10-Foot Macbeth’s Witches is an inflatable decoration that screams for attention eerily in the dark with its six integrated 7-watt light bulbs. Passer-bys will no doubt stop and stare, and is made out of strong, lightweight terylene for durability. If you are wondering, terylene is a durable polyester material used to make nautical sails. It even has an electric fan for continuous inflation and eerie fun in the dark, and can be easily inflated within three minutes. These 10-Foot Macbeth’s Witches weigh 14 pounds in total and are priced at $329.95, including tethers and stakes to secure it well.

Pick up the triad to spice up your garden and watch the kids scream in fright on Halloween night.
