This snazzy lamp shaped like the letter “C” is the latest offering from Conof. Simply plug the lamp into a USB port and away you go, enough light to illuminate your workspace. The Conof C-shaped Lamp is also capable of swiveling 270 degree allowing you to focus the light where you really need it.

We have noticed an ever increasing demand and supply for USB gadgets so we have had to create a separate category just to display them. The C-shaped light is a welcome addition to this list of related gadgets and I haven’t even mentioned its iPod dock. Trekstor have released a USB drives gadget. It is no ordinary USB drive, if it was we probably wouldnt blog about it. This USB Drive comes with a has a bottle opener built in. It has a hook at the back which can be attach to a key chain. It will be so impressive that you can open a beer bottle through an USB drive. It has 16 GB of storage capacity with aluminum finishing. The speed of the USB drive to transfer the data is 12MB to 25MB. Trekstor is compatible with any computer programs like Linux, Kernel 2.6x, Windows2000 and XP. The price offered is also amazing, you will get 1GB for $10 and for $71, 16GB of memory version.

The new Buffalo USB: Microstation

Microstation is the new external solid state USB drive product from Buffalo. It’s a USB Drive which is used by connecting to your computer via a USB 2.0 port. It gets connected with the help of a small disk called gizmo gadget which has the capacity to store 32GB, 64GB, or 100GB of data.

The MicrIt has a file transfer which ranges up to 35MB. The price is little high but it is worth as it is benefiting you with so many excellent features. The price depends upon the number of GB you want to buy for your computer. It will charge 115 pounds for 32GB, 230 pounds for 64GB and 344 pounds for 100GB.

Nature-Inspired Technology With the Solar Bonsai Tree USB Charger

For quite a while now USB solar chargers have been around. They come in different shapes which are all generally squarish and straightforward in showcasing utility in their design. Little wonder then that we got all awestruck hearing about one of these gizmos donning a totally unorthodox twist – the Solar Bonsai Tree USB Charger.

As its name suggests, yes, it’s a tabletop mechanical tree alright. The novel concept is made up of numerous “tree parts” that connect together through 3.5mm headphone-style jacks. A large trunk provides plugs for its three branches, which in turn accommodate nine smaller branches. Twenty-seven even thinner limbs make up the ends where the tree leaves connect. There are fifty-four leaves in all that are actually small solar cells responsible for fetching power. The look of the bonsai tree can be customized through the simple twisting of the plugged branches and limbs in different directions. The neat-looking tree base that resembles a well-kept plant box takes care of concealing the gadget’s cables and other sensitive mechanism. At the moment, no power generation specs have been measured.

As the Solar Bonsai Tree USB Charger is still in the concept stage, very little information is available. If this contraption ever makes it to the market, it wouldn’t be surprising to see it gracing a good many desks and tables everywhere.

Folderix 4GB USB Flash Drives

Art Lebedev have launched these new flash drives called the Folderix. Available to buy online the 4GB USB flash drives come in Yellow, Blue, or Purple, and are priced at $55.47 and have a storage capacity of 4GB. There is not alot more to say on the subject other than they look nice due to the body cover being made of aluminium and contain a laser-engraved logo.

Boynq Swing USB Hub

This snazzy looking device designed with Newton’s cradle in mind is in fact a USB hub. With 4 female-B flexible cables incorporated into the swing design the Boynq swing adds a bit more style to the normal USB hubs you tend to see in shops which to be perfectly honest are pretty dull and boring. Measuring 13.9cm x 11.4cm the Boynq swing not just looks nice but is fully functional.
