It is powered by a rechargeable battery that can last for 30 minutes with a one hour charging period. If you are looking for a decent standalone point-and-shoot camera for that occasional million dollar shot moment, the Samsung NX200 may be the prime candidate to suit your needs. When it comes to image capture, the integrated capabilities in your iPhone or whatever phone you are using are still unable to match that of a digital camera worth its salt, and although the NX200 does not come from a company who has strong historical roots in the industry, it certainly does follow the convention above.
