An irritated groan escapes your lips as a familiar beep followed by a pop-up reminds you that your iPhone is running out of juice. Fortunately, with the Freeloader Pico Solar charger ( priced at $39.99 ), charging up your iPhone and going green at the same time is definitely not a problem.
At the first glance, the Freeloader solar charger is a light and compact device that allows its users to lug it around in their pockets. Besides that, the Freeloader acts as a portable battery, allowing the Freeloader to transfer energy to the connected device in fairly short time – around 30 minutes to fully charge up an iPhone.
The difference is that, when this battery is exhausted, it can be recharged through a means of solar energy – charging under direct sunlight will take 10 hours to achieve maximum capacity though. In addition to that, the device also comes with extension tips for several portable devices such as Nokia, Samsung and so on.
Using the Freloader Pico Solar Charger, however, can be quite confusing at the beginning. If you take a closer look at the device, you’ll notice that there are four LED lights beside the word “Pico”. These lights indicate a function. For example, if the second light is lit, it indicates that the battery is currently charged by solar or USB. When it is fully charged, the light turns off. If a device is being charged, all lights will be used and each fades away as the connected device charges to maximum capacity.

iPhone users are familiar with the need of charging their iPhone every day. It is frustrating when your phone dies at the time you need to send an important message or make a call. Even if you carry your phone charger, there’s no certainty an outlet be available everywhere. The Elecom Battery Charger is your best choice. It is portable and will charge your iPhone to provide 100% power.
There is no USB cord attached, and the LED light will indicate when your phone has finished charging. There is an on-off switch to begin charging your phone. It’s that simple and no complex operations are required. But the downside is that it requires 4AA batteries. Good batteries are usually not very low-priced, and you may spend $50 overall. Also it is not convenient to equip yourself with batteries wherever you go. There are superior chargeable devices compared to Elecom Battery Charger available on the market. It’s wise to do some research and make your choice.
In my opinion, it is better to look for other alternatives where chargers are low-cost, reliable, portable and convenient for you, just like the Elecom Battery Charger. Otherwise it will be a hassle to look for an outlet whenever your phone goes out of power. Most importantly, if you are lost in the wilderness or the desert and your phone suddenly died, you will thank your lucky stars you have purchased a reliable portable charger so that you can regain communication and be rescued. Consider all pros and cons before purchasing a quality charger.

Living in the futuristic world filled with walls and walls of microchips is really stressful. Everything is so small and tiny but capable of storing millions of songs. Now let’s take a deep breath and look back into the past where huge LP discs and cassettes used to dominate the audio industry.
LP discs and cassettes have been around for a very long time and has become an antiquity ever since compact discs (CD) has been introduced to the society. For those who are lucky enough to own one, you’ll be pleased to know that Hammacher Schlemmer has released its LP and Cassette to CD recorder earlier this year.
This gadget is truly unique as it allows you to transfer the songs on a classic vinyl record or in a cassette tape by recording the tracks onto a CD through three simple steps. In fact, you could even pause to select different tracks, swap or turn albums over to compile a unique playlist of songs from several records.
Besides recording, you could make use of the LP player to listen to records from as early as the 33s to the 78s. In addition to that, the LP player also has other features such as a built in AM/FM stereo tuner, CD and cassette player, providing a wide selection of music to enjoy through its 70mm full-range speaker. Being reasonably priced at $399.95, the 50 hours life span for each needle is the only downside of the LP player.

If you think you have seen all types of laptops, you probably have not seen the Electrolux Mobile Kitchen Concept. Mobile Kitchen was the brain child of Dagan Trenchevski who once won Electrolux’s annual design competition.
In Trenchevski’s vision, the Electrolux Mobile Kitchen is a laptop but instead of a key board it has a induction heating stove. If you are wondering about the usefulness of a laptop without a key board; well this is a touch screen laptop. To add value to this innovative laptop-cooker, it also comes with a surface suitable as a cutting board. Cooking can now be fun and interactive as you search for your favorite recipes on the Internet and view them on the touch screen computer while you cook at the same time.
One of the advantages of this laptop cooker is that it enables the user to multitask in small workspaces. For those who live in a rather small rented apartment or in a dorm without any kitchen facilities; the Mobile Kitchen would allow you to cook simple yet delicious meals.
Besides that, the Electrolux Mobile Kitchen is such a great helper that a working mother can prepare an omelet for her children while replying her boss’s emails. In addition to that, the Mobile Kitchen is extremely portable. It is ideal for at home cooking and even outdoor camping and hiking. So there is no need to worry about starting up the camp fire anymore. On top of that, you can be at ease knowing that you are not completely cut off from civilization because the laptop-cooker will keep you connected to the Internet.

Fuse Powerslice

If you are the type who collects gadgets and devices, you might have encountered the problem of having to charge them separately. This is time consuming and gets a little frustrating trying to find a source which allows them to be charged concurrently. Well, with the Fuse Powerslice, you can do that and the best part is that you will look mighty good doing so at the same time. You might have come across multiple charging devices but surely nothing that functions as well as the Powerslice.
For starters, it looks just a pizza with its round shaped base. Each Powerslice allows you to place a maximum of four “plates” for you to charge your devices. It is extremely functional because it saves space on the different charging devices that you might have had to purchase for the difference gadgets that you own. Each additional “plate” or “slice” fits in nicely to the base and allows you to do your charging concurrently.
The base retails for $39.99 and any additional slice would cost you around the region of $9.99 so you would probably be looking at a total of $80.00 for the whole “pizza set”. Still, this is a worthy alternative to long wires and different things charging at the same time. All you need to do is plug the base in, put in your slices on top and start charging. It is that simple! The Fuse Powerslice has to be one of the best multiple charging devices that I have come across in recent years. It is sleek, looks good and does your charging for you in no time.
The original Powerslice universal charging base is available below.
