These summer days and the warm season may bring with those little pesky blood-sucking mosquitoes come out of the bushes. Worse yet, it’s well known that the mosquitoes can carry some serious diseases, so mosquito control is critical. You can often find yourself spending lots of money and time on ineffective mosquito repellants. But this may no longer be a problem with the Four Attractant Mosquito Trap gadget.
The Four Attractant Mosquito Trap is actually a unique and effective gadget for getting rid of mosquitoes. It’s quite simple in its design and actually works more effectively than other comparable units. The new model provides four different ways to attract and kill mosquitoes. The machine oscillates LED light at a frequency irresistible to mosquitoes and emits heat, scent as well as vibration that lure them in.
The Four Attractant Mosquito Trap is able to work across a one acre area. The device emits the same chemical compound which is found in human sweat and breath called Octenol. Thus when the mosquitoes fly towards and get near the trap, a fan sucks them into a collection net where they’re collected and dehydrate to death. It can kill over 1000 mosquitoes per night and there is no need to spray harmful, cancer-causing repellants on your skin.
The Four Attractant Mosquito Trap is an eco-friendly device and comes with a built-in timer that turns on or off automatically, according to the settings you provide. The Four Attractant Mosquito Trap is available online with a lifetime guarantee and can be purchased at the price of $249.95. The machine includes an Octenol strip that lasts for up to 30 days and the new replacement strips are available for just $29.95. The year 2011 has been declared “Operation Mosquito Wipeout” with the Four Attractant Mosquito Trap.

Kobo eReader

The Kobo eReader is something like an iPad for ebooks. It is a device that can store all of your favorite stories from your favorite authors and you can bring all these electronic books to wherever you go!
It has a thin body like the iPad and it is 4.7 inches in width, 0.4 inches in depth and 7.2 in height. The Kobo eReader uses Bluetooth connectivity and has a 6 inches display system with monochrome ink.
One good thing about the Kobo eReader is it is very compact, not heavy, and rather economical. It integrates very well with the Borders e-book store. Not only does it has Bluetooth connectivity, it includes an expansion slot so if you want to fit more books into your eReader, you can add an additional memory card to it. There is also a $20 gift card for ebooks that is bundled with the unit and its battery life can last up to more than two weeks.
Well, like all good things, there are drawbacks too but the drawbacks are not that much of a problem. The Kobo eReader does not have a Wi-Fi or 3G wireless connectivity so it seems as if you are using a generic product. There were also complains that the screen could be much better.
So to sum it up, the Kobo eReader is not a knock off basic e-book reader, but it may not live up to the expectations of some customers out there, especially those who want Internet connection with the reader. But if you are just content with just reading ebooks on the reader, then this might just be the device for you.

Electric Tie Rack with Ioniser

I feel a bit strange writing about this gadget, it is called the Electric Tie Rack with Ioniser. Currently I own 2 ties, one black one unfortunately for any funerals I attend and the other tie is dark blue and purple and used for weddings, interviews, etc. Therefore a tie rack would be wasted on me. However, we know many of our viewers do wear ties regularly and could have quite a collection that would require a home gadget such as a tie rack.
The Electric Tie Rack allows up to 70 ties to be positioned in its racks; with the push of a button the ties can be cycled through, illuminated by the integrated light allowing the owner to select the tie required. Along with ties, the unit can handle scarves and belts.
So once you are confident with the tie you have chosen you can also be certain that any bad odours associated with your ties have been removed. This is because the electronic gadget can “ionize”, i.e. remove any bad odours and bacteria by producing 2 million negative ions produced when the button is pressed.
