Twin One Cutlery

 

We have a nice little kitchen gadget for you today called the Twin One Cutlery. This gadget is a couple of cutlery pieces that when combined together form an unusual but simple to use pair of chopsticks.

Specifically the knife and fork each have a slot that can from a hinge. This makes gripping the food far easier than using traditional chopsticks and will ensure you don’t starve to death trying to get that food from the plate to your mouth. Created by DesignWright and available from Lekue, the Twin One Cutlery is available in three colors; brown, green, or red.

Having embarrassed myself on more than one occasion in a Chinese restaurant by having to ask for a fork and knife I can totally see where this idea has come from. Why store both chopsticks and knives and forks when you can just have sets of Twin One Cutlery to cater to people with different chop stick using abilities.

Open Bottles Easily with the Easy Cap

 

Well at the minute I personally don’t have a problem opening the lids of bottles of Coke, but I can understand many people do. The young and old may have a problem gripping and twisting the lid at the same time essentially limiting them to cans only.  The Easy Cap aims to help them by providing a teardrop shaped bottle lid to aid removal.

If this concept idea works and is easy to manufacture, I could see this bottle lid idea being taken up by the major drinks manufacturers. Its ergonomic and smooth design seems so simple, why anyone else hasn’t came up with this idea before is a mystery.
