Have you had days when you’re just too lazy to even tie your shoelace? I sure have, but the news I heard today made my lazy heart rejoice (without moving my body – remember I’m lazy).
Nike is seeking a patent for a shoe that laces itself. I wonder how that would work. Do you put your foot it and it magically works it stuff like in the movies?
It is interesting to note that a while ago, someone had come out with a self lacing shoe but it was not pretty and didn’t sell. I mean who wants to walk around in ugly sneakers even if it is self lacing?
Glass Panes for Birds

If you have a heart for those stray birds that bang against your glass pane in
flight, then I probably think this was made just for you.
Arnold Glas – a German company – created a spider web glass that while look
like an ordinary pain to us, can be seen as a huge web to the birds. The secret
behind it is an ultraviolent coating that diverts birds away from the pane.
With statistics showing that around 100 million birds die by banging into a
window pane, I guess we can say that this is the pane to go with from now on.

The scary part about driving cross country is the way those wild deers chose to dart across the road at the exact same time that my car is passing by.
However the Deer Whistle is a new automotive gadget that could probably let me sit back and relax a little bit more. The device works simply. All you have to do is attach the device under your car, as if you are travelling at a speed of over 35 mph, it is said to produce a sound that would make a deer freeze.
The instrument is fitted under the front hood and can be used even by those who are technologically challenged. To add to it all, one can buy it for as low as $7.98.
