Seems NASA is in distress. No it’s not looking for an astronaut. So for some our young blood may relax. Apparently they have some good astronauts. If they lack in anything, then it’s a name…
Yes they are looking for an appropriate name for their ISS module. The International Space Station module, commonly known as ISS module has been successfully launched by NASA. But they still seem to be in a look out for a moniker for their latest launch.
If your mind has already in the process of Christening the International Space Station module, then you have to give it a halt here itself. Yes, they do need a good name. But such a name that synchronizes with Harmony and Unity, the two previous modules launched by NASA. According to NASA officials, their latest ISS module is a follow up of the earlier two versions and they are thus looking forward to a name that coordinates with Unity and Harmony, giving the effect of being their successor. If the sources are to be believed then, this is the task that is keeping NASA officials busy at the moment.
The International Space Station module is a unit which will work as a location to note observations. The ISS module is also tasked to be the spot to control the robotic arm.
With such specifications, indeed NASA has been stuck looking for an appropriate name!!! So now after reading the entire narrative, if you still can think of a good and right name that can suit the International Space Station module and can bring out its features properly, taking care of the fact that it sounds like a disciple of its too predecessor, then your ideas for name are more than welcome by NASA.
So just don’t keep reading only. Think of a good name and who knows it’s your thought that gets contour in the name of International Space Station module.
iShovel

I dont really have a problem with snow here in the UK, well not to the extreme where a robot is necessary to clear my driveway. However, for those who do then read on. The iShovel is an automated snow shovel robot which is able to wait patiently in sleep mode on your driveway, and then when it detects 1″ of snow the iShovel moves into action clearing up to 800 square feet of snow in just 15 minutes. An onboard battery powers the robot which allows for up to 4,000 square feet of snow to be cleared before a recharge is necessary.
Currently only available as a prototype the iShovel or mini snow plow is able to clear snow within a set region which is predetermined by setting a boundary with a metallic tape.
Check out the iShovel in action:
There are still some issues that are unanswered as to how it copes in real heavy snow and whether it is able to gain traction on icy surface. Nevertheless, its a great idea and one I can see really catching on with individuals who hate clearing snow from their driveways.
Early indications are that it will be released within the next year, however we have no idea on price but presume it will be affordable to the masses.

Moving on from the Radio Controlled Black Stealth Helicopter posted earlier in the month we now bring to you the Black Ghost Helicopter.
This gadget is for those pilots amongst us who never quite made it to the big time but still want to experience being in control of a combat stealth helicopter. Featuring infra red remote control, this helicopter has a robust stability system making it easy to control, hover, and maneuver.
The remote control allows all for all the common flying maneuvers – up, down, left, and right. One of the things that put me off buying a remote control helicopter was I always thought one crash and that would be the end of my new gadget, however, this Black Ghost helicopter looks remarkably resilient to rough handling.
