Novac Business Card Scanner

Sometimes some of us get tired of receiving business cards because day after day it piles up and we have no place to put them. We can’t fit it in our card holder and we can’t put it in a log as well. There are just too many of these cards and they are very troublesome to look back for a client’s business card just to get his phone number. What is the point of keeping business card anyway if it would just tear eventually or we might accidentally lose it because there is no proper place to keep it? Many of us use our smartphone to store the cards information but it just takes up too much space. Well, the Novac Business Card Scanner is the solution to this problem.
The Novac business card scanner is a little bit bigger than a business card. It is as thin as an iPod Touch and lightweight as well. It is very handy indeed and you can bring it around and does not take much space out of your pocket.
The odd thing is, the Novac business card scanner does not work like a regular scanner. There is no glass bed or sliding mechanism instead, you lift the lid of the scanner and below it positions a tiny camera over the centre of the card. It snaps a picture and uses OCR software to transfer details on the business card into your address book. The OCR software is required to be installed onto your PC. The business card scanner currently retails at around $120.
