Some retail stores that sell Lego now contain this neat gizmo, a digital box which displays what can be achieved through the use of Lego Technic.  The advantage to the customer is that they are able to see what appears to be real world footage , however in reality its probably a way of turning more prospective buyers into paying customers.

To use the Lego Digital Box Kiosk a Lego product is selected from the shelf then held up to the camera which instantly reveals its contents fully assembled with 3D animated scenes. Neat eh?
