Never let your laptop battery run out of power. In a perfect world laptop users wherever they went would have access to an electrical outlet to recharge their battery, however in the real world this is not always the case. I can relate to this, i.e. getting the dreaded hibernating and closing down screen just as you’re in the middle of something.  Well this gadget called the YoGen MaxT seeks to solve this problem by allowing a user to use manual power in the form of a foot pedal to recharge the battery.

It is claimed to be useful for campers and hikers, however one of the reasons people go hiking and camping is to get away from the stresses and strains of working, therefore I doubt you will find them many outdoor enthusiasts buying them.
