Inspired by the success of Robosapien and the technology behind it Robopet has been developed as the ultimate kids gadget combining user controlled movements with free roaming behavior for hours of endless fun.  Robopet is designed like a dog and shares many similar characteristics such as the ability to run, sit, lie down, stand up, and roll over all controlled using the battery operated remote control unit.

Robopet is an extremely intelligent pet permitting the user to teach him special moves and tricks, avoid obstacles in his path, and even the ability to react to noises and sounds. Robopet technology is so advanced that he is even given a personality, being rude and naughty at times and being playful at other times. Owners must be careful not to praise him too much or he may be spoiled, and similarly he must not be punished otherwise he may become timid.

Robopet has the ability to bark, whimper, growl and pant making him everything that a real dog can do without having to take him for long walks, bath him, or clean up after him.
