The Gigantic Inflatable Climbing Iceberg

I was always into water slides as a child and this gadget got me thinking to when the last time I was on one. Whenever that might have been, it has definitely been a long time ago. Behold the ultimate inflatable pool slide from Hammacher Schlemmer called the Gigantic Inflatable Climbing Iceberg.

Standing at a height of 14’ and a size of 3,920’cu this kids water slide or should I say adults slide as well would be perfect situated in a swimming pool or any other open expanse of water.

To get to the summit of the Gigantic Inflatable Climbing Iceberg, climbers must navigate and use some of the one hundred and two handholds spread out around the inflatable slide. One side of the inflatable iceberg has no handholds and is for sliding down making a sharp and rapid descent from the top.  I can almost see this as an ideal location for having water fights on, using some of the latest water guns.

The Gigantic Inflatable Climbing Iceberg is robust having been engineered from 28-oz PVC fabric with heat sealed seams that provide excellent protection to climbers should the fall whilst being tough enough to withstand many years of vigorous play.

Up to eight people or 1,500lbs of weight can be supported at any one time and inflation of the unit can be done with the Halkey Roberts valve and an electric pump. Unfortunately, the pump has to be bought separate but if the $6k for the gigantic inflatable clibming iceberg is within your budget then I’m sure you’ll probably be OK with the extra $79.95 for the pump as well.
