Olympus Audiophile HD Camcorder

Today’s world is filled gadgets and items of multiple functions. Take the evolution of audio gadgets for example; we began with the trusty walkman that repeatedly plays the Back Street Boys cassette tape. Then when the music industry began producing their music in CDs, we evolved to the CD player. But then we found that it was too bulky and we began to store our music digitally in the MP3 which doubles as a camcorder.

The latest invention in camcorders would have to be the Audiophile’s HD Camcorder. This five inch long gadget not only records audio sounds but also videos in high definition; which is something the MP3 is unable to do. Fitting snugly into your pockets, this camcorder has dual condenser microphones that re-creates the sounds you record with higher fidelity that those of the commercial CDs.

The Audiophile’s HD Camcorder is also brilliant in capturing videos of live performance. The camera found at the back of the gadget has 5.3 megapixels including a four times zoom function. With its two inch color LCD screen, you are able to capture wider angles. Besides that, it has a LCD audio monitor that allows you to monitor both video and sound at the same time. The Audiophile’s HD Camcorder stores its videos in a 32 GB SD or SDHC card. This means that you are able to take a video up to four hours long.

Transferring your audio or video records are as simple as plugging the Audiophile’s HD Camcorder to a computer via a USB cable that comes together with the purchase of the Audiophile’s HD Camcorder. It is compatible on both Windows and Mac PC.

LP And Cassette To CD Recorder

Living in the futuristic world filled with walls and walls of microchips is really stressful. Everything is so small and tiny but capable of storing millions of songs. Now let’s take a deep breath and look back into the past where huge LP discs and cassettes used to dominate the audio industry.

LP discs and cassettes have been around for a very long time and has become an antiquity ever since compact discs (CD) has been introduced to the society. For those who are lucky enough to own one, you’ll be pleased to know that Hammacher Schlemmer has released its LP and Cassette to CD recorder earlier this year.

This gadget is truly unique as it allows you to transfer the songs on a classic vinyl record or in a cassette tape by recording the tracks onto a CD through three simple steps. In fact, you could even pause to select different tracks, swap or turn albums over to compile a unique playlist of songs from several records.

Besides recording, you could make use of the LP player to listen to records from as early as the 33s to the 78s. In addition to that, the LP player also has other features such as a built in AM/FM stereo tuner, CD and cassette player, providing a wide selection of music to enjoy through its 70mm full-range speaker. Being reasonably priced at $399.95, the 50 hours life span for each needle is the only downside of the LP player.

Rock-It 2.0

I personally believe that one of the best things of the age that we live in has to be the fact that music is now so accessible. It used to be only those with the biggest boom boxes or turntables could afford to purchase CDs and vinyl recordings in order to enjoy the music of their biggest bands. However, you can now purchase songs off the Internet, put it in your audio gadget mp3 or mp4 players and be off while enjoying the different melodies and beats. It is a miracle and technology is constantly enhancing and evolving to bring us the latest gadgets to stream ourselves with music.

That is why the Rock-It 2.0 is such an iconic device. With the Rock-It 2.0, you can turn absolutely anything into a speaker which means that you can share your music with anyone around you. All you need to do is attach the Rock-It 2.0 to your music player with the customary jack and then stick the device onto any surface and you are good to go. The technology behind Rock-It 2.0 allows it to amplify sounds and that is what you will be hearing.

This is clearly a very clever piece of technology. The Rock-It 2.0 can be purchased for just $50 which is a bargain. It runs on AAA batteries which you can find at any convenience store so that is easy work for you. Just be sure that you are playing your music in appropriate places and not blasting it where you are likely to annoy other people!

The Sphero

Sphero

We thought that the iPhone 3 was the ultimate smart phone because it can perform almost any function we can ever think of. But the problem was that our imagination is limited because Apple bounces back and introduces not only the iPhone 4 and the iPad 2. Even Samsung hopped unto the bandwagon and designed its own tablet to rival that of Apple’s iPad. If you think you’ve seen it all in the iPhone, you have not seen the Sphero!

By the name, you would know that Sphero is a spherical object. This palm sized plastic robot ball rolls and spins around via command from a smart phone. You can control the ball by synching it with your iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy or HTC Desire. The Sphero can also be integrated with other applications such as the Sphero Golf. This means that you can move the ball around as if you are playing golf with it.

As the Sphero spins and twirls it also illuminates with almost any color you can think of. For those who are tired of buying your pet toys which are practically chewed up the very next day, the Sphero is an alternative pet gadget to give your pets some exercise and fun. This is because most pets are terrified of the bright moving ball and others simply can’t catch up with it. So the Sphero will most probably never get chewed up or clawed by your pet.

Besides animals, the Sphero also appeal to young children. Simply start rolling the Sphero around to grab the child’s attention and he will stop everything he is doing; even crying.
