iPads and iPhones are wonderful devices that have achieved enormous popularity. But while these devices strive for perfection, they do leave a bit to be desired for those of us that sorely miss the keyboard. If you’re like so many users that really do prefer a keyboard when you have to get some serious work done, then have a look at this cutting-edge new innovative keyboard device for the iPad and iPhone as well as Android Phones.
The Virtual Laser-Generated Keyboard is the latest keyboard invention that projects a laser-generated keyboard image onto any flat, opaque surface. A Class II laser draws a full-size 9 3/4 inch wide by 4 inch high keyboard and renders 3/4 inch square keys with a bit of drop shadow for visual depth.
The Virtual Laser-Generated Keyboard has an optical sensor that detects your finger placement at different locations on the keyboard in three dimensions. And an infrared horizontal plane is projected just millimeters above the surface which detects the actual contact your finger makes with the keys when the infrared plane is interrupted.
The virtual keyboard device translates the detected key strokes into the appropriate character code and sends to your iPhone, iPad or Android device via the Bluetooth radio interface, so no wires or cables needed.
The Virtual Laser-Generated Keyboard can keep pace with even the fastest typists, able to track typing speeds up to 400 characters per minute. The rechargeable battery provides up to 2 1/2 hours of typing from a 1 1/2 hour charge using the included USB/AC adapter. The virtual keyboard device dimensions are 3 inches high by 1 1/2 inches wide by 1 1/4″ deep, and a light weight 2 1/2 oz.

Electrolux Mobile Kitchen

If you think you have seen all types of laptops, you probably have not seen the Electrolux Mobile Kitchen Concept. Mobile Kitchen was the brain child of Dagan Trenchevski who once won Electrolux’s annual design competition.
In Trenchevski’s vision, the Electrolux Mobile Kitchen is a laptop but instead of a key board it has a induction heating stove. If you are wondering about the usefulness of a laptop without a key board; well this is a touch screen laptop. To add value to this innovative laptop-cooker, it also comes with a surface suitable as a cutting board. Cooking can now be fun and interactive as you search for your favorite recipes on the Internet and view them on the touch screen computer while you cook at the same time.
One of the advantages of this laptop cooker is that it enables the user to multitask in small workspaces. For those who live in a rather small rented apartment or in a dorm without any kitchen facilities; the Mobile Kitchen would allow you to cook simple yet delicious meals.
Besides that, the Electrolux Mobile Kitchen is such a great helper that a working mother can prepare an omelet for her children while replying her boss’s emails. In addition to that, the Mobile Kitchen is extremely portable. It is ideal for at home cooking and even outdoor camping and hiking. So there is no need to worry about starting up the camp fire anymore. On top of that, you can be at ease knowing that you are not completely cut off from civilization because the laptop-cooker will keep you connected to the Internet.

OCD Chef Cutting Board

Do you know someone with Obsessive–compulsive disorder or OCD for short? I do and I still can’t believe how annoying this anxiety disorder must be to cause people to do repetitive tasks or obsess so much about something. However, this latest kitchen gadget is defiantly designed for someone suffering from OCD who also likes to cook. It is called the OCD Chef Cutting Board.
The 12” x 9” OCD Chef Cutting Board has been designed with perfection in mind. Printed onto the long lasting beechwood chopping board are measurement scales enabling you to chop ingredients to exact specifications making your meal not just taste great but look great too. Although it is named the OCD Cutting board it is not necessarily aimed for people suffering OCD it could be for all those people that think they are a Michelin star chef as soon as they enter the kitchen.
One downfall of the OCD Chef Cutting Board is that it must be hand washed as placing it into the dishwasher may remove the measurements on the surface. However, other than that this chopping board can be yours for only £23.95.
