Are you sick of smart phones already? Well, I am not, so bear with me as we go through another review of the latest smart phone on the block – the LG Marquee. Like most other smart phones, it gives you the capability to surf the Internet, navigate around unfamiliar surroundings and all sorts of other fancy stuff. Of course, the question on your mind would probably be – how does the LG Marquee compare to other smart phones already on the market? Read on to find out if it is worth investing in yet another smart phone.

Like I mentioned earlier, the LG Marquee is definitely a lot like other smart phone’s of its ilk. You can do so much with your phone now that I won’t really go into the details of what this smart phone can do for you. However, it does come with Nova screen technology which means that you won’t have to squint at the screen while out in bright sunlight. I am sure that you would definitely have been in such situations before and found it annoying. I tested it by bringing it out to the garden at 12:00 noon and trust me, it works and it does make it a lot easier to use the LG Marquee anywhere you go.

It is slim, fashionable and sleek plus it works well in sunlight. What is there to hate about the LG Marquee? There is nothing bad about it actually. If it is your first time looking into purchasing a smart phone, make it the LG Marquee which is a good introduction.

Click Watches

I love how the trends of the few years have slowly been gearing up towards retro fashion. Nobody does vintage quite like the young trendsetters nowadays and it is just awesome. If it was that geeks were labelled as shy, painful nerds don’t be surprised that the next fashion accessory you embrace turns out to be something you could find in the old computer circuit board.

I have totally fallen for these click watches which are adorable in totality. The face of the watch goes for the ala 1980s circuit board look with digitized time. There are two types of faces on these watches – you can either go for the DIP switch or the Turn switch model. Both have their charms and are totally irresistible. In fact, if you could afford it, why not invest in both and enjoy frolicking in the envious stares from others.

The straps are also interchangeable. You can either choose from the normal stainless steel strap or opt for the faux ribbon cable version. If I were you, I would definitely choose the ribbon cable strap because it makes it look even more authentically like a circuit board. It definitely brings out the nerd in you and makes you go gaga at the irresistible pop out colours and design on the Click Watches.

The Click Watch gadget with the stainless steel strap retails at around $169.99 while its ribbon cable strap relation goes for about $149.99. Whatever the cost, it will definitely appeal to the nerd in you. Go on and indulge in this spectacular tribute to the olden days.

LG Roboking Triple Eye

With a full time job and three kids to take care of, cleaning the house has always been a huge problem. Not only did I not have adequate time to finish the daily house chores, I was soon losing my touch at house cleaning. I was literally sweeping everything under the carpet until my husband came across the LG Roboking Triple Eye vacuum cleaner on his recent trip to Korea.

Just as its name may sound, it is indeed a robot that is designed to clean. It has three cameras that is being built into it; two to direct its suction ability while the third camera acts like a detector on its location. The best part of it is that these cameras are all equipped with Wi-Fi connection which is compatible with smartphone applications.

This then allows the user to monitor this amazing vacuum cleaner from their smartphone. I thought that was all but I was surprised with another cool feature. This equipment even comes with a voice recognition technology! You can literally speak to it, and it will listen to you if it is close enough. Weird as it may sound, you can actually communicate with your vacuum cleaner. That is indeed a technology breakthrough in domestic equipments. This robot gadget not only cleans but also can be the eyes for my household when we are out.

I was indeed very excited over it and was bugging my husband to get one for me. Unfortunately he told me that there is no news about its market release date or price at the moment.

80’s Case for Your iPhone

The iPhone is the craze of the year, creating a brand new meaning to the word Smartphone. Steve Jobs is hailed like a God. Those with iPhone flaunt it, those without certainly wish that they could. Soon, another craze hits the public, accessorizing their iPhone’s. One can ponder incessantly for ways to best accessorize their iPhone’s.

But a new wave has come, and just in time for Halloween too. Even the iPhone’s can play dress-up. A new case that realizes the phrase “the best of both worlds”. Remember in the 80s when people carried handsets that were the size of a brick? Horrendous as it seems now, the style is making a comeback.

This new 80s style iPhone case allows users to camouflage their iPhone for the brick-sized phone from the 80s. You just need to slide your iPhone into the casing and voila! If you are feeling nostalgic, or are a fan of Gordon Gekko, or are a self-proclaimed trendsetter, then this is for you!

Coming at an extremely affordable price of $20, it measures at 7.5 inches height and 2.5 inches deep. In short, your iPhone is better protected. It also works as a stand for your phone, both vertically and horizontally. Now, here is the bad news; staying true to its retro image, you cannot fit your phone in your pocket with this! But then, everything comes with a price. This case is now in stock, and is compatible with iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4.

iZON Room Monitor 2

Ever had the sensation that something was going on in your house and you would like to know all about it? Well, I’ve always been wary of having strangers at home but because I work full time, I need to have a babysitter come in regularly to take care of my children. It’s not that I don’t trust her but I am the product of too many scary, abusive babysitter clips on YouTube!

So, it is a huge relief that there is now something that I can do about it. The iZON Room Monitor works like a charm. All you have to do is place it anywhere you like for the view that you want and you’re good to go. The best thing is that you will be able to watch and listen from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch so it is an added bonus if you already have any one of these devices.

You can even set the iZON Room Monitor to alert you if there are any strange sounds or movements out of the ordinary. For example, you will get an alert if there is someone trying to break into your house or something of that sort. Thus you definitely can use the iZON Room Monitor even if you don’t have a babysitter in the house!

Of course, there might be complains of invasion of privacy and the like but as a mother, I am pretty much happy to be left with peace of mind knowing that no harm is being done to my children while I am away!
