Hercules is renowned as the market leader and a major pioneer for digital DJ controllers. And yes, this is the same Hercules you may remember as the graphics card manufacturer. Most people who are enamoured of music would, like to own a high quality speaker system for their desktop computer. The Hercules XPS 2.0 60 DJ Club Speakers are great solution for your computer system. They would definitely enjoy a pair of these compact satellite computer speakers designed with the latest innovation and technology.
The Hercules XPS 2.0 60 DJ club speakers provide and ample 30 watts of audio power and definitely pack plenty of sound. The XPS 60 speaker design is a two-driver audio system without a separate sub-woofer. The bass is generated by a port at the rear of each speaker when positioned near a wall. The bass more than good, but we wouldn’t rate it as great if you are after a really exaggerated low end. If you need great bass, you might prefer a true 3-driver system that comes with a separate sub-woofer.
The DJ Club Speakers come with an attractive lacquered black and matte finish that should suit almost everyone’s style. The trendy and innovative speakers are constructed with a metal grille to protect the main driver. For an added convenience, all the connectivity features and controls such as volume and tone adjustments are provided on the speaker’s front face for easy access.
As a great additional feature, to feature the advanced range of connection, the Hercules XPS 2.0 60 DJ Club speakers are designed with an auxiliary input to connect to an MP3 player or other compatible portable media players as well as a standard headphone connector. Again, all connections are conveniently provided on the speaker’s front face.
For music fans who love grooving music from the DJs, the Hercules XPS 2.0 60 DJ Club Speakers are hitting the market this November.

Changing a flat tire on the road can be a difficult challenge for anyone. Changing tires on the road in the middle of the night is hell, not to mention dangerous. The Road Torq Self-Powered Spotlight and Emergency Beacon made by Eton will provide important relief for those stuck in the darkness and in need of reliable source of light. When you become stranded out on the road, lighting is not always ideal or available. Being alone in the dark, in an unknown environment is unpleasant, scary and unsafe. This is where the Eton Road Torq Self-Powered Spotlight and Emergency Beacon will come in very handy.
The Road Torq self-powered emergency device is hand-cranked to generate power and light up its 1.7 Watt LED spotlight. You don’t need any batteries to power the device. With just a few cranks of the built-in generator you always have light. You probably agree, nothing is more unreliable than keeping a flashlight in your car for emergencies only to find out when you really need to use it, the batteries have died. This is never a problem with the self-powered Road Torq Self-Powered Spotlight and Emergency Beacon. It will never fail you in times of need or road-side emergencies.
Another great feature, the Road Torq Self-Powered Spotlight and Emergency Beacon has a three-leg retractable tripod that provides a steady and reliable stand so you can easily position the spotlight and keep it aimed where you need the light. And the retractable tripod gives you ease of storage and makes it very convenient to keep in your car without taking up a lot of room.
Besides serving as a useful light source, the Road Torq Self-Powered Spotlight and Emergency Beacon includes 3 red LED flashing beacons. This is a great safety feature that helps to alert passersby vehicles or other drivers on the road that you’re working on your car. It can also help to grab attention if you need help when you’re in an accident or other emergencies.
Truly, the Eton Road Torq Self-Powered Spotlight and Emergency Beacon should be a standard safety accessory issued with every new car sold!
I strongly recommend drivers everywhere to keep at least one Road Torq Spotlight and Emergency Beacon in their cars at all times. You never know when you might find yourself in trouble. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus Speakers – The Ultimate Audiophile’s Speakers

Here at Mint Gadgets, we like to present the full range of great gadgets that you can find out there. Now bear in mind, many of the finest gadget innovations are not necessarily the most expensive items to buy. In fact, most of the gadgets we talk about fall within the more affordable price range of the spectrum.
However, some gadgets that we feature actually do come in as some of the most expensive innovations that you can find. And most assuredly, these audio speakers from Wilkins & Bowers are definitely an example of the latter. In the spirit of the “best of the best”, the Wilkins & Bowers Nautilus Speakers come in at the “top of the top”, the absolute most sophisticated audio speakers money can buy.
And yes, I did say these speakers are expensive! But it’s fun to look, right?
Bowers & Wilkins is a world class innovative audio research, engineering and manufacturing company located in England. Innovation is a premier hallmark at Bowers & Wilkins, and the research and development project that led to the Nautilus speaker product took over 5 years to accomplish. The engineers at Bowers & Wilkins explore every avenue in the relentless pursuit of true and accurate sound, borrowing many lessons directly from nature to achieve the pinnacle of audio loudspeaker design.
The result is an audio loudspeaker technology that continues to shape the direction of the audio industry today!
Place these loudspeakers from Bowers & Wilkins in your listening room and you’ll be in good company with some of the world’s top-end recording studios including Abbey Road Studios that have used the products since the late 1980′s.
The Nautilus Speakers enable the unparalleled experience to hear music exactly as it was recorded. Every nuance and detail of the music shimmers with vibrant realism. The Nautilus Audio Speaker technology results in the full power and impact of the sound to propagate unencumbered by speaker distortion or cabinet diffraction. For these reasons, the Nautilus is recognized as the first speaker in the world to truly achieve near zero cabinet coloration.
The four-way speaker design provides the clearest three-dimensional sound stage performance available. The Nautilus Audio Speakers accomplish this optimal sound quality by eliminating cabinet coloration which is the unwanted sound that radiates from the back of a speaker driver. Another key innovation is the mathematically precise, tapering wave-guiding tubes that house each speaker unit’s one inch and two inch tweeters as well as the 4 inch mid-range driver.
Rear-traveling sound waves are channeled, absorbed, and dampened, which results in the purest sound emanating from the front while virtually eliminating the distracting and distorting sound radiation from the rear of the speakers. And talk about fancy audio technology, the pattern of sound vibration is engineered to a precision tolerance that falls within 1/3000th of a millimeter using laser-doppler velocimetry.
Now, don”t ask me what “laser-doppler velocimetry” means … perhaps something to do with determining the sound velocity by using lasers to measure the doppler shift? Who knows, but sounds impressive, don’t you think?
Each speaker enclosure has a powerful 12″ bass driver housed in a curved, spiral-shaped tube that permits the sound waves to travel the length of the tube without reflection. The speakers’ active crossover network enables each driver to operate purely in its own frequency band (unlike typical passive crossover designs) for sound that is crisper, cleaner, and more vibrant.
You should note that this architecture does require four separate amplifiers per speaker which are not included. But at these prices, if you can afford the Nautilus speakers, I’m sure the added expense of a few more audio amplifiers is of little consequence.
And don’t forget the aesthetic quality as well. The Nautilus enclosures are each handmade from a combination of fiberglass and reinforced ABS for durability. And the final product is finished with the same paint and lacquer system used for German luxury automobiles, your choice of three colors off the shelf; black, midnight blue or silver. The brochure does indicate that you can order custom colors if you’re willing to wait a bit longer for delivery.
If you would like to review details about these remarkable Nautilus speakers, you can download the Nautilus brochure here.

O Car iPhone Stereo Controller

Currently, the automobile industry is brimming with the latest vehicles, boasting high-end stereo systems that can be sync to your phone. So much has changed so quickly with stereo and entertainment features in today’s vehicles. It was only a few years ago that I test-drove a car that still had a cassette player, and this was a $100,000.00 luxury model! If you had not had the chance to drive a new vehicle with the latest in car gadgets, you might want to give the latest O Car iPhone Stereo Controller a shot.
The heart of any sound system is the head unit, which enables the user to listen to the radio or soundtracks on the iPhone, by integrating the phone into the entire sound system. The iPhone dock was specifically designed to serve this purpose, which renders the head unit obsolete. Also, it’s flexible enough to rotate your phone. In addition, apps incorporated into the system include audio settings adjustments and radio.
Bluetooth connectivity will permit any device that is Bluetooth-enabled to connect to the car. In the case of a cell phone, the driver is able to receive calls without having to lift and hold the phone. This is a wonderful advancement in communications, especially in regard to safety.
However, with a price tag of $300, this system might burn a hole in your pocket, depending on your budget. Ultimately, we have to ask ourselves, which items are worth the money and which are ones that you can live without?
