Many individuals, especially women, face a common problem of cracked heels. It is a common foot issue that is also known as “heel fissures”; it is caused by dry skin and the worse condition is when there are calluses. If you are facing this problem, and wish to self medicate on this – you won’t have to look far. A pair of Moisture Removing Socks and a good cream after a nice scrub should be sufficient.
What are moisture removing socks? They are clothes gadgets or special socks made with patented technology to keep your feet dry. The technology helps reduce or move away moisture from out the sock. These moisture removing socks are constructed with a three-zone system; first to absorb, then to transfer, and lastly to evaporate moisture.
The moisture removing socks is made out of a mixture of Alpaca and Merino wools. These wools are known to be the softest natural fibers in the market. These materials are use especially in the area of the heel and toe for moisture absorption. The materials used in the moisture removing socks enable the transference of moisture to be more efficient, as compared to the regular cotton, blended or even synthetic wool socks.
To prevent toes from blisters, a flat knit toe seam is incorporated. Besides that, the y-knit is used to contour the heel which guarantees a fit that is comfortable. The moisture removing socks comes in the colour choice of black and brown. The sizes are based on U.S size of Medium, Large and Extra Large.

The holiday season is fast approaching and many people will be going on aeroplanes to nice sunny climates; relaxing, drinking, and topping up their tan. During their travelling they may find this gadget called the Circulation Enhancing Travel Socks useful.
This travel gadget, well it’s not really a gadget but a bit a bit of clothing, is ideal for those long flights where people with poor circulation cannot get up and stretch their legs to get the blood flowing again. Ranked as the most comfortable and best fitting circulation socks by evaluations done by Hammacher in their research department, the socks provide fantastic compression in order to encourage blood flow in the feet and legs.
Testers of these compression socks claimed that they did not experience the itchiness and scratchiness of other similar socks available on the market. This is due to the quality of the Circulation Enhancing Travel Socks, specifically the blend of alpaca and merino wool that helps absorb moisture. The moisture then evaporates via the nylon and polyester channels which keep the feet and legs cool and dry.
A final advantage to these circulation socks is that they can be washed multiple times compared with other available products which degrade after one wash. The Circulation Enhancing Travel Socks are available currently in two colours, either brown or charcoal with various sizes of each.

Sockification

Ever heard of a robot that does different tasks? Well… that’s old news now, but some scientists were able to teach a robot to pair clean socks together.
The robot when given two socks, examines them and classifies them as ‘inside’ or ‘outside’ and after doing that, flips the sock to make it right, and then pairs them together.
The PR robot – Willow Garage – was taught this trick by a “Sockification” team who won $5000 for this feat.
