The technology industry has not forgotten green bird lovers. It has produced the Solar Fountain Birdbath which utilizes solar energy instead of electricity to power up the garden decoration, thus helping to conserve energy and also cut down on electricity bills in the process. This is possible thanks to the solar panel placed in the center of the fountain which harnesses energy from the sun to power an internal pump.
This pump enables the continuous recirculation of water through a filter and up to the fountain to produce a spring of gently cascading water while eliminating stagnant water which can become a breeding ground for insects. The sound of the trickling water will also attract birds to the Solar Fountain Birdbath, as it is a well-known fact among bird lovers that birds are especially attracted to running water.
The Solar Fountain Birdbath can be set up anywhere in the garden. Take note though that some minor assembly will be required. It also requires an 8-hour charge, but it can last up to 6 hours after each charge. Do not fret if you do not get much sunlight at your place as only moderate sunlight is needed.
In terms of looks, the Solar Fountain Birdbath does not look too shabby with its wrought iron black base which is forged by hand. This is reinforced with an iron hoop for more strength and stability. The fountain’s aluminum bowl comes in a rich copper finish, giving it a touch of elegance.
