I have always had problems with getting the right size of toaster just to fit the different sizes of bread that I like to have for breakfasts. It is always either too small to fit a thick slice of bread or too quick to burn my thin slices of bread. That was the problem until I came across the best solution; the Bodum Flat Toaster.
Just as its name sounds, it is indeed a toaster that is flat. Having a flat surface, which works like the grill or barbeque pit, does give an advantage in handling toasting at any time of the day. I can now just place my bread of any size on top of the heating surface, which is made of stainless steel, and wait for my bread to be toasted.
With the Bodum Flat Toaster, I can now control my toast easily with just a simple dial. I can even monitor the bread as it is toasting to minimize the chances of a burnt toast. Besides that, I can also use this flat toaster for food other than plain bread such as bagels, buns and pita breads that may make my breakfast more exciting each day.
It is also very easy to clean this flat toaster and to keep it clean, unlike its normal counterpart; the normal bread toaster with the many internal compartments. To make things easier, there is also a crumb catcher area that collects the crumbs of your bread. How amazing is that? Breakfast is without doubt the most important meal of the day. With a good breakfast and something nice to drink in the morning you are ready for anything that the upcoming day brings. For many people, a slice of toast or a some cereal is all that is required, not because that’s all they want but that’s all they can be bothered to make. Roastie Toaster

Have you ever had one of those mornings when your alarm clock didn’t go off and you are half an hour late for work? You rush into the kitchen to make yourself a quick breakfast while trying to fix your tie or put your hair in a bun at the same time. Most likely you would end up with hardly toasted bread or a burnt one. The Roastie Toaster promises that you would have evenly toasted bread even when you are running late.
At first glance, the Roastie Toaster looks like a hamster wheel until it opens up a flap and extends a small tray where you can deposit the bread. The Roastie Toaster turns on by pressing the power on button at the back. To unleash the bread tray, there is an eject button that is similar to the one on a DVD player. You can also set the timing of the Roastie Toaster with a slide of a button.
Unlike the regular toaster with two compartments, the Roastie Toaster can only toast one bread at a time. However, its revolutionary heating concept ensures that you will have the perfect toast for breakfast. The toasting magic is kept in its heating arms. These heating arms rotate around the bread so that each corner and surface of the bread receives the same amount of heat.
The Roastie Toaster encloses the bread to keep the heat within so that the bread toasts faster. Its see-through body allows you to monitor the progress of your bread to avoid it from getting burnt. From the outside, it looks like your bread is getting a tan.

Have you ever wonder about how toasters work, how it produces that golden brown tan and crispiness on the bread? Now you can find some answers to your questions with the Transparent Toaster by Inventables!
What is a transparent toaster? Basically, this device is a toaster which uses clear glass radiators to heat the bread until it toasts. Sounds cool right? If you occasionally burn your bread because it is too thin or the timer is set too long, this device might be a great help to you.
Besides that, nothing beats staring at the bread getting its fair share of tanning treatment. Even kids that are curious about anything under the sun can sit down and observe how their toasts are made. Come to think of it, teachers at school can also show off this magnificent device to their students as an extra knowledge on heat conduction. There may be a wide range of applications for it that exceeds its original purpose.
Unfortunately, this device can yet be found in the market as it is still a conceptual device. Why? According to the designers, the glass doesn’t get hot enough to toast bread. It is truly a disappointment to hear that we won’t get to try this until the designers can work out the kinks.
The good news is that someone thought of this concept, and it opens a wide range of possibilities for future kitchen gadgets such as clear heating stoves or even clear boiling pots. We can’t wait for it to appear in the market!
