JVC GS TD-1 Camcorder

JVC has manufactured a wide range of camcorder products from time to time. It is one of the frontline names in the market as far as electronic goods are concerned.  The GS TD-1 range of camcorders from the JVC brand is one of the best in the business. It has all the necessary features which a high end camcorder should have. If you are looking for video recording at high definition, this gadget stands out as the best one for you.

The camcorder is offered to you in a complete package which consists of camera lenses and image sensors.  If you want to shoot 3 dimension images this camera is the best one for you.  After the shooting is completed you can take a look at the videos in playback versions.  It is ideal to play them on Blue Ray version players.  If you take a closer look at this gadget, you will find that it consists of CMOS sensors which play a very important role in performing its various functions.

You may just be wondering just how the HD images are processed by the device? The answer lies in the imaging engine which exists in the device.  You also need to have a very flexible approach when you are shooting. This is made possible by the various modes of shooting which can be termed as Side by Side, LR independent, AVCHD shooting etc.  The inbuilt features of the camcorder ensure a very high class performance even in extremely low light conditions. Apart from these features which help prominently during the shooting process, you get the facility of internal memory which extends to 64 GB in all.  A card slot of SDXC range, parallax adjustment and stabilization system which works automatically are also a part of it all the way.

First Pocket 3D Video Camcorder

This is the latest offering from Hammacher, the pocket 3D camcorder capable of recording in three dimensions.  With all the latest films and developments in 3D filming it was only a matter of time before it became available.  How does it work? Well the camera contains two lenses that work together with the 3 MP image sensor to record images which are slightly different and then entwined to create a video anaglyph (a method of encoding a three-dimensional image in a single picture by superimposing a pair of pictures) – Don’t worry I had to Google that term aswell.

The videos produced are recorded in a 640 x 480 pixel resolution and are saved as AVI files. The 3D camcorder provides access for external memory in the form of a SD card slot, e.g. a 4 GB SD card would allow up to 4 hours of video or 2,000 3D images. Recorded 3D content can be reviewed on the camcorders 3 ¼ TFT display and movies on the 7” screen without the need of wearing glasses, this is because the screen is overlaid with a parallax barrier.

Other Features
- Speakers and headphone jack.
- USB 2.0 Port for transferring data to computer.
- Rechargeable battery providing up to 2 hours of continuous usage.

The 3D Video Camcorder is available from Hammacher and is priced currently at $599.
