Whiteboard Wall Clock

People just won’t stop fusing things these days. Look at this adorable Whiteboard Wall Clock. Just from reading the name you would know that it is a cross-breed of a whiteboard and a wall clock – two of the things you need the most at your office.

Like any cross-bred child, this multi-functioning timepiece inherits only the best from its parents. While serving as a time-teller, little Whiteboard Wall Clock lets you write on his face too. Quite handy isn’t it? The clock is frameless so you can make a creative to-do-list by writing your plan beside every hour of the day. “Breakfast” beside 7; “See the Boss” beside 10 – whatever fits your schedule.

Just because it is also a wall clock does not means that it has to be round with narrow margin. The clock is placed at a corner of the board, leaving a wide space for you to scribble anything that crosses your mind onto the whiteboard. So while you are doodling away, the clock will remind you that it’s time to get back to work. See the reason why these two things were put together? They simply complement each other.

The package comes with a free magnetic whiteboard pen too so you don’t drop and forget about it. Its dimension is 35 x 35 x 5.5cm which is regretfully smaller than the conventional whiteboards. However, one thing that will make your eyes jump out of their socket is the price tag; $71. I’m off gluing my $2 wall clock onto my whiteboard.

Invotis Wall Gear Clock

Invotis Wall Gear Clock

Clock-maker these days are eager to get the hands off the clock. Why? As explained by the intelligent design of Invotis Wall Gear Clock– it’s all about coolness. Perhaps this does not apply to everyone, but I personally love looking at some of the high-end watches that exposes its tiny little gears working tirelessly to make sure its owner arrives at meetings on time. I think it’s cool – it proves that a clock is more than just the face and the mismatched pair of hands – it got some intricate machinery working behind it.

Since hands no longer qualify for the clocks of the 21st century, Wil Van Den Bos employs a small black arrow to point to the numbers that represent every hour. The numbers 1 to 12 are established on the circumference of the monstrous gear wheel. And while the wheel spins, so does the time. Don’t worry about any noise pollution in your house if you decide to bring this home – the gears work slowly and quietly.

2 D batteries are required to keep the gears going round and round, but the batteries are not included. The clock is 22 inches in diameter and 26 inches high – a perfect dimension to add some funkiness to a boring wall. You get to choose between several colours too. However, it needs a little setup that can’t go wrong if you read the instruction. Throw in some $125 to show the world how much you love engineering.

Order in Chaos clock

This funny looking clock is tailor made for those who like to have odd stuff in their house.

The numbers are all gibberish and it looks impossible to read, however it is actually very simple. The single hand in the centre points towards the minutes, while the hour is the only actual letter that is readable.

The time in the picture is 12:10.

The number on the clock also rotate such that only the number whose hour is it, appears straight and readable.

The clock is simply, once you get used to it and has a certain sophisticated class about it.

It is also referred to as the Shattered clock because of how the number shatter and then come together again.

A Garden clock that tells its time to go environmentally

Timeless Garden Clock

Are you eco friendly? Then this garden gadget should find a place for itself in your home. Designed by Tommaso Ceschi and Francesco Castiglione Morelli, the Timeless Garden Clock does not require any batteries to run on. And that doesn’t mean it has electrical cord plugged into the wall for access to electrical power.

This unusual gadget does not require a solar cell, battery or electrical power. It’s an extraordinary example of eco-friendly gadgets that have gained a considerable popularity with people. Definitely its not a new idea to create an eco-friendly Timeless Garden Clock, but this one is indeed unique in the way that it generates electricity to power the digital clock.

The Timeless Garden Clock is based upon the chemical reaction that happens between the organisms present in the soil that consequently produce a small electrical charge. These electric charges help to power the Timeless Garden Clock. As long as there are plants growing in the container’s soil, the device will generate electricity for the clock to operate.

And there’s always the extra benefit of more plants that consume carbon-dioxide and emit oxygen. That’s always good for the environment.

The Timeless Garden Clock can also easily match the decor in the interior of your home. You can always find a nice table book shelf or counter top to place it on. The Timeless Garden Clock is made up from recycled plastic material again helping to reduce the environmental impact.

Crafted as a pot or clock, whatever you want to call it, its not fashioned in the most elaborate way, yet is simple and sweet; just what every one is looking for to keep on one of the living room tabletops.

Look for the Timeless Garden Clock coming to the stores near you soon.
