Nikon added one more super zoom camera to its CoolPix range namely Nikon CoolPix P100. The Nikon CoolPix P100 is an SLR-styled superzoom camera which has a Full HD movie mode. The camera includes a 10.3 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor which shots the images with the maximum size of 3648 x 2736 pixels. This new sensor improves the video performance with 1080p HD shooting and provides high speed continuous shooting mode. It also has an ISO range up to 3200 and 26x optical wide-angle zoom lens.

The Nikon CoolPix P100 digital camera comes with a 3-inch LCD display which supports high resolution of up to 460,000 pixels and an inbuilt stereo microphone. It also offers one touch movie recording button. It has few more features such as HDMI out, Aperture Priority, Manual Exposure modes, and Shutter Priority. The model has sturdy body which gives a professional look and is much lighter in weight. Its handgrip is coated with a rubberized texture which provides comfort as well as one handed shooting control.
