Ultrasonic Facial

Cosmetic treatment of the face is known as a facial. Previously, facials involved the use of steam, creams, lotions, peels, and massages.  However, more recently dermatologists have utilized ultrasonic technology for acne skin care, anti aging, or to revitalize the skin.

How does it work? The Hammacher Ultrasonic Facial uses surprisingly enough ultrasonic vibrations to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and blemishes.  Simply move the facial brush across your face and the 32, 000 vibrations per minute produced by the facial motor removes any dry dead cells on your face. The results after using it are your skin feels softer and smoother. For best results, follow up with a cleansing gel and nourishing cream which penetrate deep into the pores which the ultrasonic treatment opened up.

The ultrasonic facial helps other skin care problems such as poor blood circulation. By applying the ultrasonic vibrations over your skin collagen and elastin cell production is increased which also results in softer skin.

An advantage with this product over other ultrasonic facial products is that it comes with different sized attachments which allow large areas, small areas, and hard to reach areas to be targeted. The unit runs for 10 minutes following a charge of one hour, and is waterproof if usage in the bath shower is required.

I would say Ultrasonic Facial is a nice idea for a gift but I am pretty sure if I received one as a gift I would be paranoid whether the person who bought it for me thought I had bad skin?
