The Hand Crank Emergency Beacon is an emergency beacon that is supplied with electrical energy by rotating a built in hand crank on it. This survival gadget is portable and it provides instant light when you need one. It does not require you to use any batteries and it can last longer than an emergency life flare.
You can generate light by rotating the beacon’s dynamo which is very easy to wind, for at least two minutes or more supplies energy to an internal three phase alternator and can induce 15 minutes of light source.
The crank flashlight beacon’s light head tilts to a 90 degree angle. It has three LEDs that projects out a constant powerful and bright light and on the opposite side is a red flashing light to alert oncoming vehicles that you are there. The emergency beacon exterior is weather proof and has a built in tripod that allows it to be placed in an upright position with complete stability.
The Hand Crank Emergency Beacon is about the size of a regular flashlight and it also gives instant handheld illumination by just tilting back the light head and folding in the tripod. The emergency beacon can also be powered by a DC adaptor which comes along with the emergency beacon. Dimensions for this device are 7 inches in Length/Height and 2 and a half inches in diameter. Total weight for the emergency beacon is about eight pounds. The hand crank emergency beacon is an inexpensive item and the market value for it is about $39.95.
