Want to check your health? Pee!

Have you ever been worried about your health when you’re doing your business in the toilet? Probably not!

But just in case you are, or in case you’re too lazy to make your way to the doctor’s office, the Japanese have created a bathroom that can provide you with details of your health while you pee!

It is also called the “Intelligent Toilet”, as in the short duration while you pee, the toilet analyses your urine, checks your body pressure, your temperature and your weight and provides us with an instant health report.

However if you share your toilet with too many people, then it won’t work as the toilet can only take five people because of limited memory storage.

But don’t be so quick to dash to the stores. The innovative set up costs between $4100 and $5850!

Medical research has shown that applying a small current in the form of electricity at the right levels can help wounds to heal faster. Cells in the body require energy to function correctly and to heal; this is normally produced by in the mitochondria of the cell. However, if the cell is injured it may be unable to produce the energy required to heal, and this is where the Electric Bandage helps. Power of 1.2 volts is provided by microscopic batteries attached to the flexible membrane of the adhesive bandage.

Features:
- Prevents microbial penetrations
- The electrical current provides painkilling properties
- Cheaper than conventional wound care (average $1000 per wound, compared with Prosit Electric Bandage $140)

The Arizona based company Vomaris Innovations are the architects behind the Prosit adhesive bandage and expects to win FDA approval for Over-The-Counter (OTC) supply later this year.
