Cool Leaf Mirror Keyboard

Concept electronic products usually cause uproar among reviewers and consumers, but some remain as concepts and for some, the actual products do not deliver what was promised. However, once a concept product, the Cool Leaf keyboard has proven that it is not a let-down. The Cool Leaf is a keyboard with a mirrored surface, a product by Japanese company Minebea.
Making use of the popular touch screen technology, the mirrored keyboard is actually a big capacitive touch panel, with a reflective surface. To put it simply, it is a touch screen keyboard compatible with your existing computer. You may not be used to typing with a touch screen keyboard, without the keys and the clicking sound that a typical keyboard makes. Minebea has thought of this, and incorporated haptic feedback into the Cool Leaf, so that there will be a little vibration each time you hit a key.
Besides being cool, another advantage that the mirror keyboard renders is its easy cleaning. With the Cool Leaf, you don’t need to worry about dust getting caught between the keys and in the crevices anymore. And in case anything spills on it, all you have to do is to give it a good wipe, and it’ll be as clean as brand new. You don’t need to waste time and effort cleaning between keyboard keys anymore.
The only flipside is that is currently only compatible with Windows OS, so it may disappoint users of other operating systems. It is priced around $245 and available in Japanese, English, German, Italian and French layout.

Ever since the iPad was introduced, it has been selling like hot cakes at almost every corner of the world. However, despite its advantage with its size, many users have complained about the lack of keyboard and that to use the iPad while resting the device on their forearms is really quite a tedious feat. And thus, the Zaggmate iPad Case and Keyboard was born.
The Zaggmate iPad Case is not only a casing for the iPad but it also comes attached with a keyboard. Before the Zaggmate case was created, many manufacturers have came up with products that are similar to the Zaggmate iPad case but never did one won the hearts of the iPad owners and none had the sleek design like the Zaggmate.
The Zaggmate iPad case and keyboard uses a rechargeable battery that can last for months, literally. The case and keyboard is built together to complete the iPad look and to make it looks like a new laptop, similar to those made by Apple. It also has shortcut application keys like any other MAC products so you won’t have to worry about re-setting it again. Not only that, it is also very light weight and very handy to bring around.
Even with its many advantages, The Zaggmate iPad Case has a slight drawback that does not really affect much on the users. The Zaggmate has a slight imperfection on the corners and on the lining of the metal edges. The Micro USB slots on the device are not like the universal USB standard port that we uses on our computer. It uses the mini USB slots that not many hardware caters for.
Even with the disadvantages, the Zaggmate iPad Case and Keyboard is still a very portable and handy iPad gadget that’s definitely value for your money.

If you own an iPad you will have realised how typing large amounts of text is not the easiest thing in the world to do. The iPad has been designed to display data (text/video) rather than to create it. Due to this many people refer back to their laptop of PC. However, with the latest iPad gadget called the iPad Keyboard Portfolio entering data has never been easier.
Communicating with the iPad wirelessly via Bluetooth technology, the iPad Keyboard Portfolio works like any other conventional keyboard. Manufactured with rubber keys and guaranteed to last over 500 million keystrokes the iPad Keyboard portfolio is made for comfort and reliability.
To ensure the user is comfortable whilst working, the iPad can be slipped into the keyboards protective sleeve which holds the iPad at a suitable angle for viewing. The keyboard sleeve has been designed to allow access to the iPads 30-pin charging connector so you can type on the keyboard whilst the iPad recharges. To further ensure the maximum comfort to the user, a wrist pad can be unfolded which helps prevent repetitive strain injuries.
The keyboard is powered by a rechargeable battery that gives up to 90 hours continuous usage before a recharge is required (4 hours recharge time). That is more than enough time to do any homework essay or article.
Please note, the iPad Keyboard Portfolio t is only compatible with the original iPad and not the iPad 2.

The Typewriter is back

If you’re parents are graying as quickly as mine (or if you’re significantly younger than me, your grandparents), you are probably constantly having to “educate” them on how a computer works. They probably fumble with the keyboard, simply because its looks like a device of grave complication, Atleast to them.
Now they can get that loud hammering of those old fashioned typewriters back with the new USB type of typewriter. Plug it into your USB port and let them bang on all the keys they want and maybe even do that typical ‘go to next line’ action that gives them that kick and a feeling of accomplishment.
