I have a Toshiba laptop, which I think is great except it can get pretty hot after a couple of hours of continuous usage. For this reason I am particularly interested in any gadgets that aim to reduce or prevent the heat build up. Microsoft have released a new piece of hardware to solve this problem, its called the Microsoft Laptop Cooling Pad. This gadget is Microsoft’s first Notebook cooling device product and to be fair isn’t anything special.
Microsoft’s Laptop Cooling Pad is basically an inch thick stand which plugs into the Laptop via a USB port; this provides power to a fan than ensures that heat is dissipated.
The Microsoft Laptop Cooling Pad will be available in Black or White.

Ever imagined a retail store exclusively holding Microsoft products where you can just go look out for various products and buy according to your wishes. If you imagined such a store, then indeed there is a good news for you because your imagination is taking wings in the contour of a retail Microsoft store. The Microsoft retail store is about to be declared soon and Microsoft is officially entering the competitive retail markets with its very own staff and helpers. Microsoft has till date employed for its new retail stores a Vice President, David Porter, who is responsible to look after the entire retail market for Microsoft. He is supposed to take charge by 16th of this month. Even though there has been no official declaration of Microsoft retail outlets, yet there has been a swing with the people and Microsoft users.
There has been much speculation amongst the Microsoft users about the location of these stores as well. It is believed that David Porter, the appointed Vice President for the Microsoft Retail outlets, has been given the duty of deciding upon the time within which the outlets can come into the market and also about the location and other related specifications in bringing out the outlets. The press releases talk about Porter’s first guidelines in the outline of the retail store.
Microsoft has experienced a mixed reaction from people, while some find it to be one of the best decisions by the company; others feel that Microsoft is trying to just compete with Apple outlets. Microsoft has no doubt looking forward to sell a lot in the shape of Windows, laptops, smart phones and mobile phones and not to forget the Xbox 360. It surely is a smart move from Microsoft to offer its brilliant products put together in a store and presenting it s products in a better space and ambience. So get prepared to see a window display full of Microsoft products in hopefully your nearest market. Atleast one can dream for it!!!
