MONOPOLY App

Monopoly is one of the greatest board game ever developed. It is more than just a board game but a perfect way to spend quality times with your friends and family. I should know, I happen to be one of the people that adored playing this game and practically grew up with it.

Monopoly is a game that teaches you to strategize and make good business decisions. Hence, you will not just be playing the game for fun but also honing your business skills. No wonder the game is a favorite for many people and the reason why it will always be popular despite so many game consoles and other devices available in the market these days.

The Monopoly app developed simply because many kids nowadays prefer playing with their mobile devices rather than a board game. If you have never played the original board game, know that the app works the same way, as the only difference is that there is no dice and board to play with. Nevertheless, the idea or concept of the game is still the same with the Monopoly app version.

Monopoly is famous for buying and selling properties, from the most expensive locations to the cheapest neighborhood. You can be the winner if you can buy as many properties as you can, but make sure that it is on good locations. In addition, the app has 3 levels of playing, so if you want the game to be more difficult it can be customized according to your preferences.

Monopoly is a fun game, more so when you are playing with your friends. Actually, invite 2-3 friends to play with you and this is possible as long as you have a WiFi connection or Bluetooth.

Figuring out the Monopoly GO square

I am a huge fan of Monopoly and have spent hours playing it with my friends. But the one thing I never actually questioned is whether the ‘GO’ square was actually a real place.

Ordnance Survey – a mapping firm – figured out the exact location of the real ‘GO’ square using a digital mapping device. As it turns out, the location is right next to the famous Albeit landmark in London, between Old Kent Road and Mayfair (as on the board).

While this is interesting, I can’t help wondering whether this firm really had nothing better to do than figure this out.
