Although I like cooking and baking I very rarely do much these days, and it’s not because I am lazy. The reason I don’t is every time I come to use the oven I burn myself. I use oven gloves and have tea towels but the hot surface always finds a part of skin not protected. My skin may only come into contact with a hot tray for a fraction of a second but it hurts like hell.
