Lunascape Afterglow Presentation System

Afterglow Presentation System

Typical presentations involve the use of Microsoft PowerPoint and a whiteboard should any notes or further information need to be provided. However, the Lunascape Afterglow Presentation System offers a unique new approach to provide an interactive experience to presenters and the audience.

With the Lunsacape Afterglow Presentation System, through the use of a laser pointer, items on a projection screen can be emphasized, highlighted, or even used to control the cursor of a mouse. The pointer can also be integrated with PowerPoint itself by allowing side buttons to be used to control the slides of the presentation.

How does the Afterglow Presentation System work?

The Afterglow PowerPoint Laser Pointer couples with a USB camera which can be connected to the PC running the presentation to track the motion of the laser pointer. Typical laser pointers have never before allowed for annotation on the screen, however this is the benefit of the Afterglow system.

The built in Image Processing System (IPS) uses the captured image from the camera to determine the lasers location allowing for smooth handwriting and drawing. So to make it easier, imagine the system being similar to a digital white board just without the specialized hardware required on the whiteboard and computer.
