How do you choose a torch when there is so many different style and designs available? I am not sure of the answer to that one but I definitely think you should consider the UB3T Invictus. The Invictus torch produces a focused 800-Lumen beam of bright white light which is ideal for circumstances that require searching during extreme dark conditions such as search and rescue operations.

Eight settings to control light levels, specifically from 2 to 800 lumens means you have a light level to suit most conditions. Two other essential settings are the strobe mode and the SOS beacon. The strobe setting typically used for tactical missions must be used with caution as it can cause dizziness and nausea for a small percentage of people who suffer photosensitive epilepsy. The SOS beacon function is for use in emergencies for signaling your whereabouts to rescue workers.

Flashlight failure of the UB3T is almost impossible as there is no filament to burn out or snap. The UB3T claims to be more efficient providing much longer running times compared to similar devices with the same battery requirement.
