I would guess most people who have access to a computer and the internet have used a webcam or at least seen one. Today’s gadget is slightly different to your average webcam in that it has motion tracking technology built into it. This web camera has the ability to track motion or be remotely controlled via the internet, basically allowing you to spy on your home when you are not present. On detecting movement, the camera is able to pan 180° and tilt up to 60° to follow and record any movement.
The camera can be setup to notify you via email whenever motion is detected in your home. Once notified, software provided with the camera allows you to remotely access the controls therefore manually maneuvering the camera to view anything within the room. Therefore the Motion Tracking Web Camera appears to be more of a security device than a traditional webcam.
