Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave Watch
April 21, 2011 by Sharon

The Citizen Co. had just came out with a new watch which is the Eco-Drive Satellite Wave Watch. It is not like any other regular radio signal watches that calibrates the time automatically because with radio signal watches, the further you are from the radio station the connection decreases but, with the Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave Watch you’ll be able to receive and sync data from any GPS satellite that is orbiting the earth and you won’t lose track of time anywhere.
The Citizen Eco-Drive Watch does not only consist of dials that spins around the watch, it also has dials that indicates the day and date and it also comes with a digital and manual stop watch system in it. The colour for the satellite wave watch comes in a distinguish black with a metallic green rim. Alongside the rim of the watch consists of names of countries that you can set your watch time to.
The best thing about the Eco-Drive Satellite Wave Watch by Citizen is that you do not really need to set the time when you are travelling in different countries because it will automatically set it for you unless you’d want to look at other county’s time, then that can be done with just a push of one little button.
The Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave Watch has only limited number of pieces and this new model is not even on sale yet so there is no specific price tag for now. Of course, one thing for sure, it won’t come cheap when it hits the market. The Satellite Watch by Citizen is said to be released early Fall 2011.

In 2009 I had the idea to manage time by GPS-Satellite when travelling Africa without time-signal from Long wave. Wrote the suggestion to Pres. Tsuneo Nagai (Citizen) and got a short letter back… Now the idea ia real! Have no patents, working as a med.doctor with other aims then create watches. But Citizen did it. Its a milestone in Time-Setting. Could used by Pilots, Skippers, soldiers, travellers etc. Great. Time ist ours. But now I want on of them; will write the second letter
